Laptop Battery - Where to buy?

You should have posted 2 days earlier. MY gf just sold her extra T60 battery (it works on the T61 also) for $45. Best bet is Ebay. She bought a OEM 9 cell for her T60 for $50+shipping.
 
I would not recommend any other battery than the OEM from Lenovo.

So many recalls, so many burned laptops due to faulty batteries...

Is 50 bucks saved really worth the uncertainty of getting the battery that might ultimately explode, or burn the whole machine and whatever might be around it...?

Very true. I just wish they weren't so freaking expensive!! The upgrade to 7 cell from 4 cell was only like 30 bucks. Hopefully the 4 cell won't suck that bad.
