laptop batteries

this is most likely in the wrong forum, but is it bad for the battery if i keep my laptop plugged in?

No, it's better for the battery than constantly running off of it...

really? i have always thought that you should drain the battery power before plugging it in to recharge

if you keep it plugged in all the time you get more performance out of it because of the speedstepping.

These are Li-ion batteries, not NiCd's.
