Laptop Bag

My company will be reimbursing me for any laptop bag I choose.

Anyone know of any really cool ones? I've never had a laptop bag, but I want a cool looking one that can hold papers or binders as well.

I have a laptop bag from Waterfield and its pretty cool. It does not look like a laptop bag so thieves won't eye on it. Its roomy, can put alot of books and binders plus a few pockets to put accessories.

I have a High Sierra Backpack which I carried my laptop around for about 5yrs.
I next went to a USL Computer case

The backpack was very convenient when I was on campus but with more gear etc, the USL was what I really needed. Its been my constant partner for the past 5 years. I been through 2 laptops already and the USL is still doing its job.

If I had the money I would get the laptop bags from Crumpler or Timbuk2. Like Qianglong described these bags do not look like laptop bags, but rather messenger bags so they can pull double duty if you do not need to carry your laptop around.

I have tried several cases over the years - roll-ons, back packs, etc. The best thing I have found to date is a neoprene sleeve (wet suit material in colors) that then allows me to put my laptop in any briefcase safely. Then it just looks like what it is - an ordinary briefcase.
