Laptop backpacks .. where to buy?

My backpack I've been using since grade 9 is gettin really worn out... I'm at second year of University btw 😉

I need to get a new one that holds a laptop well. I have an IBM T40 and I don't want one of those business type bags... just a backpack I can hold some textbooks and a laptop around school well ..

Anyone have any suggestions for a dealer online based in Canada or that ships here?

ebags.com?

I was looking around for a laptop backpack a few months ago. I wanted a really normal looking backpack (not a steal me bag). I like lots of the Samsonite ones, but seeing as I already had a fairly new regular backpack... I just got the Jansport Laptop Sleeve. Fully padded around so I can just keep it in my backpack along w/ my other stuff w/o much concern.

I got this at staples (are they in CN?), its not on their website though. It has a laptop compartment and the back supports. It was 34.99 plus tax

this is muh bag

I got it in fire engine red. At first, I didn't like the red color because it was so visible - but now, I like the red color because it is so visible. I see people I know more often on campus and I could swear it's my bright red backpack.

Anyway.. It's big, tough, light, padded good enough for my tastes, and it's got pockets for other laptop stuff. I got it for $25 though.. But, I think it's better than any other laptop bag I saw.

seriously, what i did is I got one of those cheap $10 LAptop bags at Circuit City or CompGeeks, cut out the laptop sleeve (including the entire backing). Then with the help of my wife I sewed the sleeve into a nice JanSport back pack. So for about $30 I got a very nice (very large) laptop bag...

i spent like 2 weeks trying to find a nice lappy backpack and decided on the "ogio metro" from ebags. lots of room for my dell 8200 & various accessories/text books for when i'm on campus. highly recommended.
