Laptop and Video Input?

Does anyone know how to get a Laptop screen to display video from another computer / device?

I really want to get a nice laptop to use all the time, but want to be able to occasionally use the storage space and other functions of my old PIII desktop. Thus was wondering if it was possible to get a laptop screen to take other inputs.

thanks

I don't know of any commerical laptop that has a vga or dvi input so it can take other sources.

If you only want to use the storage space and other functions why not just run a network? You don't need the screen for the other pc just set it up once and turn it on when you want to use the function.

hm.... good idea, but i am really looking for a laptop that can also perhaps display video from a vga adapter for my gaming devices etc (ps2 ...)

ah well... may have to keep my current setup

Yeah guess you have to.

ps2 to monitor will look *horrible* unless you put it through svhs to your pc and then use descaler.
