Laptop advice

My parents are looking at laptops. Only needed for Internet and things like MS Word. They want to spend well under $1000 and don't need any big performance. Only need wireless Internet capability.
Anyone know some good brands or a good place to look?

Look at the FS\FT Forum or just shop around for a good deal on a cheap, light laptop with integrated wireless or just throw an 802.11g PCMCIA card into it.
 
recently many B&M stores have been having laptop sales. best buy has been having 499 laptops and then another one thats alittle more with integrated wireless and 512mb or ram usually around $700. be sure if you do get a laptop with a celeron, that its a celeron m and not just a celeron.
