Laptop & 2001fp

I hooked my laptop up to my 20001fp via vga cable. It will boot on the 2001fp but as soon as xp loads it goes back to the laptop screen. Can somebody please help me with this issue please thanks.

EDIT: yeah, i just did this with my HP laptop and the crt in the other room . . .

works great
