I noticed a couple of scratches on my heatsink the last time I took if off. Would you advice lapping it, and what is the best method for doing that? thanx
 
If you want to lap your heatsink, look at this_thread and some of the other threads linked within this one. IMO, this is a very good source for information on lapping and such.
