Lanparty UT Ultra-D + HDD Sata2 -> LED not working

Hello:

I have a DFI Lanparty UT NForce4 Ultra-D mobo with a SAMSUNG SATA2 SP2004C.
The HDD LED at the front of the case is off. Every cable is conected.
What I read in the mobo manual is that for the HDD conector it says "IDE HDD LED"... the question is: with SATA2 disks the LED doesn't work? Is it this way by design? Is there any workaround? I am very used to watch the LED for monitoring the activity.
Thanks.

Check the polarity of the plug. You may just have to reverse the way the LED lead is connected to the header.
