I have a LANParty UT SLI-DR Expert and it started developping this problem that it won't boot the first time you try to start the computer. you have to fully remove power for a few seconds, then it will start properly.
In addition, now it looses its CMOS settings when you remove the power after the false start. have changed the CMOS battery, but problem is still here.
This means that I can;t power off my machine, or if I do I have to go in CMOS-reloaded, reload my setttings, then set the BIOS clock to the right time.
Obviously a pain in the butt. I couldn't find anything on the former DFI-street forums except a number of people are experiencing similar problems. It's not a bad capacitor issue, or if it is, all my capacitors look good.
Unless someone has a bright idea, I think I'll write it as a loss (had it for about 18 months I think) and buy something new (thinking about Gigabyte GA-M57SLI-S4)
