I have a DFI LANPARTY UT NF4 SLI-DR Expert with a e-GeForce 7800 GT video card and want to upgrade to the best price for money video card.

Suggestions?

Thanks!

8800GT is still damn good value. Nice motherboard btw, I love mine, even though its not my day to day machine anymore.

I have a very similar setup and I'm waiting for the HD4850 to see prices and performance. If I had to buy right now I would get a 9600GT or a 8800GT, also try overclocking your CPU to get the most out of your new videocard.

Get either a 9600gt, a 3870, or a 8800gt. Also, overclocking your cpu to about 2.5ghz or so would help alleviate the cpu bottleneck for these new video cards. I'm using a 8800gt, with a similar setup, on a 1920x1200 monitor, and it plays almost anything smoothly at high settings.

I enjoyed reading the parts list - it reads like the ultimate dream system from 3 years ago.

As for the vid card, 8800GT is a great card for a great price. I doubt you'd be disappointed, unless something similarly priced with way more performance comes out in the next month or two.

Thanks everyone! From reading all of the comments in the open threads I have going, it sounds like for now to save money and enjoy this RIG for a couple of years, I should overclock my current CPU and get an 8800GT Video card.

Can anyone point me to a place where I can get information on overclocking my MB and CPU?

Thanks!
