I just got a the Lanparty Ultra B and it been doing some odd things (See This Post).

Also, the number below the REV on the board has been painted over with a streak of white paint, which seems strange.

The board will not post much above 255-230 FSB, and it won't go into windows at above 210 or so.
I've bumped the Chipset Voltage all the way up (1.9v) and that didn't help either. I have PC 3700 RAM so that shouldn't be holding me back. And I have active cooling on the Northbridge (8 CFM 40mm Fan).

I've read some reviews about this board, and people were getting over 250 with active cooling on Northbridge.

I would like to compare my results with the general public to see if what i'm getting is average or not.

Here's my Rig,

AXP 2500 Mobile

FSB 200

Mult. 12

CPU Speed 2400

Prime Stable for 1 Hour (Large FFT's, 2048-409

You could have just gotten a bad bit of wafer for your CPU. Dont sweat it... most people who reach those OCs go through 2-3 CPUs and determine which one OCs the best.

Although just in case, what is the stepping of your processor?

i had a pretty bad OCing barton, only did 2.4ghz with 1.9volts. i managed 250. this new barton i have manages 2.6ghz with my current cooling but can't do much above 240 in the way of FSB.

it seems all bartons are fine with FSB OCing on DFI motherboards so long as they are at lower frequencies.

what kind of ram are you using, whats its stock timings, and what timings are you using to try and push it farther with?

edit: this IS with active NB cooling. i'm using a rather nice thermalright nb-1,which beats out pretty much all NB cooling solutions because it uses a slightly noisey delta fan instead of quiet solutions.
