LanParty NF2 or KT400 ???

hi ,

I jusr bought a Lan Party NF2 Ultra 😀 ( id been waiting for ages to get the money together for it  ) and i was wondering if this was a good chioce or whatever?

Which would you say is better the NF2 or the KT400A

Im using an Athlon 1700+ DLT3C JIUHB 0310WPMW which on my 8RDA+ could reach 2500MHz
and 2 x 256mb Corsair 3200 XMS.

by the way i was amazed at how quick my mobo got delivered - whats like the average delivery time for items online would you guys say ( being that the retailer isnt like in another country reasonable distance 100-200 miles ) my delivery went somthing like this :-

Wednesday 10 / 14:00hrs - I went to the tekheads.co.uk website
14:10hrs - I placed my order for Lan Party NF2 Ultra
14:11hrs - I recieved "order being processed" email
16:10hrs - I recieved "Item is being packaged and dispatched" email
Thursday 11 / 09:45hrs - knock at the door "WOW IS MY MOTHERBOARD" great

anyway any comments would be appreciated ....thanks

😀

Yep am thinking of geting the lan party motherboard myself. Lot of room for upgrade with the 1700+ you have so shouldn't be needing a new mb any time soon. Would suggest a faster cpu soon since it's not going to be able to keep up with the 3200 ram. Go for the mid range price 2500+ and you should be set. Hope you have a window on your case so you can make the mb glow your room up 🙂

Here are the few reaons I would choose NF2 over KT400A or KT600.

* It's still faster than KT600. Even single channel motherboard are faster than KT600.
* Better audio output, especially those come with MCP-T south bridge. Audio
quality is compariable to SoundBlaster Audigy1.
* Better network(MCP-T too). CPU utilization is very low.
* Better driver.
* Better overclockability. PCI bus frequency is locked.

- The only missing part is SATA compare to KT600, but I don't think it's a big deal.

Hi ,

I got a SATA Cable and power connection with my LAN PARTY NF2 .

hey btw , i am running 2 x 256mb Corsair 3200 and 1 x TwinMOS 256mb 3200. and i want the 2 corsair 2 be the dual channel which slots should i put the 2 corsair and the 1 TwinMOS so that corsair are in dual channel...thanks
