I was wondering if there was a possible way to change the language of your entire computer. I have bought a panasonic toughbook to fix up and it's stuck in Japanese. I don't read Japanese. I need to change it to English so I can resell it. Any help appriciated

It boots up in Japanese or is it just Japanese in windows?

if the bios is Japanese, perhaps you can reflash the bios to the English version if available:

I think for Windows, you'll need to reinstall the US version over the Japanese version.

WW is correct. You should be able to install language packs to make it read other languages, but in general, you wil have to reformat to get all the Windows stuff in Engrish (bad japanese joke, sorry if i offend anyone). Same thing for the BIOS

When I run BIOS it will start in Japanese or English (which ever I have choosen last) The boot up screen is in English until I hit the windows start up screen. Then it changes over to japanese. I have gone into the regional settings to change the language but to know avail. I have tried formatting the computer from a disk but it doesn't accept it.
