Picked up ~$800 worth of stuff when they had their 30-50% sale recently and got the package a few days ago. The clothing feels so much more expensive than it is.

A++ would buy again

Sorry fellows. That overpriced knit sweater is made in the same sweatshop as the stuff I buy at wal mart except I paid alot less and I don't have a logo on my shirt.

Lands End frequently has good deals... I'm not talking about like an overall sale that is super and there are tons of good prices, but rather, I seem to find one or two items in each magazine that are on sale for great prices...
And yah, it is definitely good quality stuff.

50% off of that sissy boy crap is still 90% overpriced.

Since when is Land's End overpriced crap? And WTF do you get sissy boy - most of the models on their site appear to be business-type men with regular hair, late 20s-seniors. The image they are selling is regular, modestly-priced clothing for regular, modest folk.

WTF @ sissy boy.

You don't get a logo on these either.

I really don't know much about Lands End. I thought I had seen one in the
mall so I automatically assume overpriced sissy mamma's boy.

I adore their winter clothing - water proof, rugger boots for $30.. Outstandingly warm (down to -15) jacket for $60... GREAT stuff for good prices

Their shoes and coats are decent - being more outdoorsy person I wear a lot of filson stuff too - you buy their double leather belt you never need another but many think $70 is a lot for a belt.

Sear's bought Land's End, so I suppose you may have seen their products in a Sear's store, but I don't believe that Land's End has ever had its own stores in the malls. Historically it has always been a mail order catalog.

They also don't have logos placed on the exterior of the clothing. It's definitely not anything like Ambercrombie or American Eagle or whatever.

Land's End USED to make great casual clothes...then they got bought by Sears...and quality dropped by about 25%...then when Sears was bought by Kmart...the quality took another nosedive.

Their "ringspun denim" jeans were great...more comfortable than most, better made than most, and the price was dammed reasonable.

Nowadays, the quality isn't much better than Costco's Kirkland brand.

I used to buy all my jeans and t-shirts there, plus their winter coats and jackets were top-notch.

I don't think I've spent $800 on clothing in the last decade, nevermind in one place. :awe:

You need to get a clue.

Good clothes don't need a logo on their shirt, in fact, I prefer it doesn't show it most of the time. I'm not casioboy or whatever his name was, but I like luxury clothing and don't mind paying $200 for jeans or $1,000 for a suit. It's not for everyone, which is fine. But comparing Wal-mart to even Lands End shows you don't know anything about clothes. If you're on a budget or tight on money it's understandable, but to struct around Wal-mart clothes like it's the same as j.crew, BR, SFAM, Burberrry - you are delusional. Get off WoW where calling people sissy boys while wearing old sweatpants is okay, but this is the real world.

Merry Christmas.

Sounds like a decent inexpensive clothing line though "adoring" is definitely in the realm of sissyness.

Lol, WallyWorlds clothes are the cheapest made. If you're lucky they won't fall apart after a dozen washings.

I've been buying my polo shirts from Land's End for over a decade. They're good quality, last for years, and have no silly logo.

They also make good dress shirts, t-shirts, jeans and winter coats & jackets.

If you prefer boring reliable clothes over badly-made cutting edge style, it's a good place to shop.
