Why would you smoke in the house? I smoke, but never inside. It grosses me out and quite frankly, it's rude to smoke inside especially if non-smokers come over. Aren't you embarrased over the smell and the yellow it produces over appliances and the walls?

Good advice... things like the holes from the towel holder are "normal wear & tear" & as has been stated, unless your lease says no smoking, that can't be held against you either..
pics will help your case if you do end up in court though.
 
Look into this stuff called Ozium... you can usually find it at the carwash or even at the grocery store. It removes the smell of smoke instantly(good for stoners too, lol) although if you smoke all the time your furniture is gonna stink too.

 
I have an idea. Let's just not live in filth. Is it so hard to take care of a place like it was your own? Or I suppose you would take as little care if you owned the place?
