don't take it personally when the customers get nasty or obnoxious and start abusing you. they just think that kind of behaviour will get them what they want.

My wife works for a 3rd party CSR company, currently providing support for Cingular/ATT Wireless. She's been there over a year and a half, she's had her share of aholes, but also her share of really nice customers. As in any business where you deal with the general public, there's a bit of anything.

That's true, but Canadians on a whole are a lot kinder and easier to deal with. I regret every single day I have to deal with ComCast's Baltimore billing issues, as they are some of the rudest people when they have billing mistakes, or past due balances.
