Article said he pulled over after he bumped the guy who brake-checked him, but the bikers started hitting his car so he took off because he feared for the well-being of his wife and child.

NYPD hasn't arrested him (yet, nor should they, if everything is found true) but NYC has banned the event.

It's easy to judge others while you are sitting behind a computer screen, not wondering if your life is on the line. Sure you can sit there and play out how you would do it, but how often do you really drive around and think, "hmm...my family and my life are about to be threatened by a gang of crotch rocket thugs, I better plan out my day accordingly."

More videos of these terrible excuses for human beings. Note the driving on the side walk as scared pedestrians huddle close to buildings. Identify as many as possible, arrest the ones involved in the assault, and revoke the licences of the rest of them.

You don't see how this group of idiots were causing some major disruptions on the roadways? Article even mentioned that they suddenly showed up at Times Square and caused chaos to the traffic there.

You've never actually been to NY have you? He was driving along the west side highway. Continuing on that highway would eventually lead to the Saw Mill parkway where an angry mob of bikers could probably easily murder you and dump your body in the woods. The only other option that he reasonably had was to pull off on one of the exits (which all lead to busy city streets) and hope that the bikers back off realizing that it's a high publicity area. Given his circumstances this was probably his only option and a very reasonable one considering that Exit 14 is one of the last exits in NYC. The only thing he could've done better is maybe look to stop in front of a police station but good luck having the fortitude to think about that when you have a dozen angry assholes chasing you down and a wife and kid to worry about.

I think I recognize some of those douchebags. They speed up and down one of the streets near me and pop wheelies during the summer months with their way-too-loud dirt bikes. Assholes - it's already noisy enough in the city and we don't need them contributing to it. It's also dangerous enough crossing some streets because people think it's a f*cking speedway.

A bunch of jerks disrupting the flow of people and traffic should absolutely be banned. Also bikers who have excessively noisy exhausts. To those douches: We already have ambulances, fire alarms, and honking horns. No need to have your douchey exhausts blasting on the city streets. You're not cool, you're just an idiot.

Totally disagree. It's not fortitude it's common sense and the thing about common sense is it comes natural to you, you don't have to stop and think about it. You either have it or you don't.
