Land Rover Sponsored Windrock event

Land Rover of Knoxville hosted an event at Windrock today. The largest off road park west of Colorado. They paid for the pass and catered food. Was a great time, wife and youngest had a blast. Defender is my wife's, so a little nervous because some of the trail was pretty rugged. But after 3 years I finally talked her into taking hers off road. Taken the Bronco up there several times but first for hers.

Windrock is a blast for all off roading, at, side by side, 4 wheeler, 4x4's, trails for all types.IMG_3621_20231015_192414.jpgFB_IMG_1697413686602.jpgFB_IMG_1697411995746.jpgFB_IMG_1697412221401.jpgFB_IMG_1697412006324.jpgFB_IMG_1697411942803.jpgFB_IMG_1697412206780.jpgFB_IMG_1697412120588.jpg20231015_150259.jpg

Awesome! I was just out west and while I didn't do any offroading myself, being an east-coaster primarily, I was caught offguard by the amount of offroad vehicles. Especially in Moab - lots of little buggies driving on the streets on the way to/from an offroad site

Moab is the off-roading capital of the multiverse. The transformation from dead uranium mining town to motorhead mecca has been astonishing.

We've not been yet but plan to next year. When you buy a new Bronco, Ford gives you a day at one of their 4 off road centers to learn about the vehicle and it's capabilities. You can use your own or one of theirs. Food is paid for and it's about a 10 hour day. One of the locations is at Moab, and that's where we plan to go. Pretty excited about it for sure.
