You know... this thread actually made me consider creating a parody thread. One entitled "Girl Scout Troop kicking French @ss again".

But I cant support the whole parody thread "thing", so I didnt create the thread.

*waits for all the idiots to say something negative about France*

And Armstrong may be a talented athlete but he's a complete asshole and thus loses all respect.

No I'm not French, but I'm just tired of seeing the mindless sheep mentality of hating the French for no valid reason whatsoever. I think it's an American thing, because no one else gets hung up on the past failures of other people more than Americans, at least from my experience. It's more sad than anything, how such a free nation can act as such, but that's life.

I'm tired of seeing the mindless sheep mentality of hating the US for no valid reason... This isn't the first time I've seen you put down the US, and yet you live here iirc. Why not move? You'd get along great in Europe riding that fashion wave.

Haha. You are a prime example of what CR is talking about.

How is he "putting down the US"? Sounds like to me he is putting down actions by some people, nothing more, nothing less.

The people bashing the french probably thought 'freedom fries' was a good idea. Talk about a mindless mob mentality.

The left nut was just slowing him down.

He has overcome so much and travel so far such that he will be in the record books for ages.

Seriously though, anyone who had to have their left nut removed has my complete permission to be an asshole...that and he is from Texas...you learn to deal with it after a while😉

kicking french ass? uh a french guy is in the lead.

But tomorrow, Armstrong will be kicking everyone's ass.

As for the being an ass thing. Many athletes are highly competitive people that would seem like asses to the rest of us.

It's not mindless as there are lots of very valid reasons to dislike the way this country is currently being run. I do not hate America, I love it. I love my freedom and my right to expres how I feel. There is quite a difference that most people don't see and usually reply with 'go live somewhere else blah blah' which is the most ironic thing since it's probably the most unamerican way of responding or acting since you should respect and embrace people's differences and opinions, the cornerstone of this country you so bluntly tell me to get out of. This is typical as well.

In addition to that I'm referring to CR's past posts and to the phenomenon in general.

There is a difference between constructive criticism and derisive insults, the latter something I see in just about every post you make directed against the US. Your above quote is the only time I've ever seen you say something positive about this country.
