LanBridge question.....

Installed Lanbridge... finally got it to work.... BUT....
When I launch my browser..... (IE5.5).... it takes too long to load the webpage (any), and creates a IE error page (time out). Connected via dialup (not by choice).

Anyone using this program..... and knows what I need to change to get this up and running right?

I have it setup on a (2) computer LAN. Server attached to modem, attached via NIC to HUB, to second computer NIC.

Do I need to use the IE new internet account wizard..... and create a new dial up that way... and setup for "LAN", etc.?

I dissabled the firewall software..... but that did not make the difference.

Any help is appreciated.

I am assuming your using Internet Lan Bridge..

UNinstall it.. its a pain in the BUTT

Get Sysgate or ICS (if you got win98SE).. its faster and better.

And yes it has been a real pain in the butt ever since I started installing it.

I don't have ICS... so I will check out the Sysgate.

if you have 98SE.. you can install it from the CD.
