I am sure the solution is very simple, but what is the port of setting that one sets inorder for a W2k / W2k Server to map a network drive to an XP machine on the same LAN, which has XP's built in Firewall up.

I can map a drive from the XP machine to the W2k machines, but not the other way around and I am guess it is becuase of the XP firewall I have up. One UDP/TCP port setting do I set for this to work? Or is there something else I have to change?

Thanks

Well, it takes 10 sec, to disable the Firewall and see if that is the case!

Important For the purpose of the initial setting, disable all software Firewall (including WinXP native
ICF); disable any active Virus scan or any other utility that might intercept Network Traffic.
