LAN: what is client for MS networks

its a piece of software called a client to allow you to login into a microsoft based server/domain.... by the same token the client for novell networks is so that U can login into a novell server. If you don't login to or authenticate to a server you can take it out Also note it allow others to authenticate to you in the case of sharing... it also provides the netbios over tcpip
