LAN / VPN question (with dl-614+)

I have 2 computers in my home between whom I want to share files.
Both are connected to the internet through a dl-614+ router.
Could I set up a VPN from one computer to the other through which they can share share files?
I already set up one computer to accept incoming VPNs.
How do I connect from the second computer to the first?

In your situation, a VPN would be used in the folling manner.. If your Router (614+) supported VPN server
you would have the ability to go anywhere in the world and dial into your router, and what ever PC
you are on would be a part of your "private" network which are the 2 computers in your house. It would be
like having 3 computers plugged into your router at home.

The idea behind a "private" network is that your computers are exclusively on the same subnet together and
and services you do between the computers is direct and not routed through the internet or any type of network
(except your own).

This private network allows you to use such services as Windows file sharing between the 2 computers. You just
need to understand how to navigate your computer to get to the other computer. Setting up Windows File sharing
is different in each version of Windows, and I don't know which one you are using.. So unless you give more info,
nobody can really help much..
