What is a good program to test the line speed of an LAN?

Easiest way is to transfer a file across the network and then use a stopwatch to see how long it takes. Or you can run a ftp server on one computer and then use a ftp program to download a file. Most ftp programs included elapsed time and line speed, like ws-ftp.
