I think everyone knows the external enclosure. But I found out that this is a network HDD enclosure. I can access the HDD from any my home network PC, so if I share the files in my house's PCs, I don't need to turn every PC on. It is great for me.

No go on loading linux onto it for those hopeful of using it like an NSLU2-- it's only got 2mb of ram and 512k of flash.

I have one of these and it's great. I use it to back up my webserver (VPS) via FTP and to back up important files from the PCs on my network using robocopy. Does require Fat32 format as doan said.
