OK, I am gonna date myself. Remember video arcades? Why couldn't someone set up a place where people could get together and play LAN games W/O bringing their own box? Like R/C racing? Charge so much per hour. Is this doable?

If ya have the Startup funds and Overhead funds it might work.
were you looking to Open a Shop or do it from your house???
Also depending on your City and Population. I would'nt open a Store with a town size of say 5000 peeps :)

Places like this are already open. Around the corner from my house there's this place called "Dream lab" and it's basically a lan party place. They charge 4 bucks an hour and you can play games against people. CS is played there most of the time.

There are places like this....not many, but some...seeing as how it isn't exactly cheap to gather/build 8-24 computers. However if you have startup funds to do it, then it is a very possible and profitable venture. I've seen a few places in NYC where they have these.

My town must be behind the times, we have nothing like this. It bears looking into.

It's just as hard as spelling the word difficult, correctly.

Ya, that is funny. What kind of moron gives grammar/spelling lessons when they can't even spell?

Umm...

Take a look at the rest of the post. He's joking. There are numerous misspelled words & transposed letters. Either that or he's really drunk.

Seattle has a place called Gameworks, heard it's really awesome. Need to go during the tyke's school hours, otherwise it's too busy, $20.00 for unlimited play. Hope to go when work slows down and I get my every other Mondays off again.
