Cost to play
Our switch died at our last lan, so I was forced to purchase a replacement. The cost of this will be devied up among the people that come. There are ~10 on the list right now so it should be about $6-$7 person right now. To be paid for upon entrance. You'll also get a sample of the C4 mousing surface (first 10 people to come) that can be won.

Additional costs
Usually we do a food run or two and grill out. While we'd like to do this, it may not be possible, afterall, it will be mid-December. But everyone that will be eating (usually everyone) would throw in ~$5 that should cover a meal or two.

wow. people still play counterstrike? we attempted it a couple of lans ago and we were rather disgusted at the graphics and started play Rainbow Six: Ravenshield instead.

In regards to having it another week this month. Won't be happening as we've dedicated this weekend to it.

Not to fret though as we have these every couple of months.

Ok, that sounds good. Most likely I'll end up being able to attend one in June or July.

is that so? I mean, you figure all of the biggest tournaments in the US and the world would be focused on some other game... as well as the prize money total is far greater than for any other game.

Oh yeah, did i mention it is the most played online game?

it has been in our gaming circle. I definately don't disagree that it was a great game and I don't want to turn this into a CS thread, so I'll leave it at that.

Good to see we have a lot of Indy gamers. I usually host a 12-20 person Lan party in my 3 car garage several times a year and would like see some more turnout. Now I know there are more people around town. Currently about half of our Lan party comes from out of town from either Bostan MA or Chicago.

Last party we ran thru two kegs between 18 of us. The games we played were Battlefield and some Call of Duty. We try to keep it simple so we don't spend the majority of the time patching and installing all the custom junk.

Because we have a lot of out of town people the next Lan party will be over memorial day weekend.

If anyone is interested in playing Battlefield or any other game drop by our clan @ www.ClanUniSol.com

We have a large BF1942 following and also have a large SWG group plus several other groups within the clan.

WE have our own BF and Unreal server and we also use TeamSpeak to communicate. Come out tonight for our Midnight Madness and we will be looking to do the new maps for EOD. Around 1 am eastern we get up around 15 people in TS and the smak talk begins so be prepared. Your Mom's ears will be ringing.

Later,
CarniVore (Johnny Chimpo)

As GtPrOjEcTX sort of suggested, Raven Shield bests CS in every possible category. I will never play CS again after playing RS. I wish CS would die already so more people would play Raven Shield. Better graphics, gameplay, maps, weapons...etc.
