Bump for the first time I ever saw "Coraopolis" in a thread title here. :)

You might want to contact idNut, I think he is in the area and does LAN parties.

That's what caught my eye, too. ;)

Too bad I'm not a gamer, that Sleep Inn is less than ten minutes from me.

sep,

You might want to double-check that MapQuest map. It's showing Market Place Blvd. as being just off of Beaver Grade Road, but Yahoo and my Moon Township map are showing it as just off of Montour Run Rd. Don't want anyone to get lost... ;)

Too bad I suck at those kind of games. This would be the first time something with AT has happened so close to me. (Pitt student.)

When you play these games local it's different than the net (you know what I mean).

I'm an UT fan, but ut2k3 just doesn't do it for me. Yes, I purchased this for $40 bucks and I can't say I've played it in the last 30days. Not like UT I think I played it almost every day. RTCW and BF1942/Desert Combat has taken it's place.

I can support up to 24 players...if not on the existing server on my machine...oh yea!

I swear that I keep seeing Crapolis everytime I come to Off Topic. Got to get my eyes checked. Maybe its the "Jimmy Carter was a crappy president" thread on the same page that is messing me up.

So those are the only games allowed to be played? I mean sh!t, what about Quake III? Look at my name for Pete's sake.

Clan LOAD (Lords Of All Death) will probably come--at least those in this area--for Medal of Honor. They aren't big RTCW fans whereas I am. This seems to be a big WWII bash which is okay but we need some futuristic game in there like Quake III or Doom.

Coraopolis is about 15 to 20 minutes northwest of downtown Pittsburgh...quite a ways from Carlisle.

Yeah I didn't know where it was either. It's about 2 hours from me though,(Altoona), which is a bit farther than I'd wanna travel.

Hope you guys have a blast though!

I guess you could either go two hours to Coraopolis, or wait until there is one in Altoona, which will probably be never. :)
