is Lan only for local network? I want to play game with my friend via internet with Lan setup? is it possible?if yes, how to set up. thanks.
 
if you want to play a "LAN" game over the internet, he will have to VPN into your network. Easiest way is to host an Internet server and have him connect to that. Forward the necessary ports on your router.
