Lan gaming and WinXP(?) problem

I'm on a home network with 3 systems all running WinXP. The problem I'm having is that I can't see or be seen by other players when trying to play any(so far: NFS PU, Red Alert 2 Yuri's Revenge) games. All systems see each other in Windows(they all have shared folders that can be accessed) and 2 of the systems share an internet connection with the 3rd with no problems. I suspect the problem might be the firewall on the 3rd(connected to the internet) system which is using Norton 2003. TCP/IP and IPX are set up on 2 systems, not sure about the 3rd though. Does Norton sound like the possible problem?

Any other suggestion are welcome?
 
Just disable Norton for a few minutes and see. You probably could have tested that in the time it took to make your post. 😉
