Guys,

I am about to order a couple of fan controllers for my new build.

I have narrowed it down to these two:

1.) Lamptron FC5-V2: http://www.lamptron.com/products/view/Fan_Controller_FC5V2

2.) Sunbeam Rheobus Extreme (Black): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-016-_-Product

Both fan controllers are 30W per channel although the Lamptron is only 4-channel (4 fans).

The Lamptron looks much better than the Sunbeam because of the LCD display and I've heard they fixed the LCD viewing angle with the "V2" of the FC5 model.

I am planning to use 3 120mm Delta fans as well as 3 120mm Scythe Ultra Kaze fans; both for exhaust.

The Lamptron is $65 and the Sunbeam is $30.

I don't care about the price difference but I want the best fan controller.

What do you guys recommend?

I don't like either. I prefer Aerocool. I have the Delta fan in my old rig running on a Gatewatch. For my current rig I'm looking at the Touch-1000.

Why not get the FC-2 from the first link you posted? Doesnt look all ghetto flashy like the two you listed, it controls six fans, and at 45W each should be able to run any/all fans you can plug into it without frying (Ive had some cheap ones actually catch fire).

The FC-2 has really bad reviews and has performed abysmally especially with the Deltas.

The FC-5 V2 has an improved LED display and I need to control 8 fans in my case so I got two of them.

The Sunbeam was also a choice but the FC-5 V2 looks way better mainly because I want to see what RPM my fans are spinning at.
