I need to get one of these. Can't find much info on hot vs cold application. Any input on pros and cons? Thanks.

Hot because it's easier to find laminating sheets locally for me :)

I work at a store where we use a 3 foot wide heat laminator.
Pros: Works fairly quickly, looks good
Cons: Takes a while to warm up, gets VERY HOT(like 262) and you can't laminate stuff that's really think, most things are fine but anything close to think mat board can't go through.

Pressure sensitive (cold) laminates are more expensive than heat assisted or heat activated laminates (cheapest).
