Lamest costumes so far today?

So I get to work, putting a little bit of effort into my costume (not a huge amount like others).

But then some people show up with something random they have in the closet. Not appearing to be anybody special.

For instance... a graduation gown. Why? What are you... a graduate? How scary, how special? Another: a set of scrubs (like from a hospital). Umm... ok? So what do they say when you ask them who they are? Umm... I just had these lying around so...

Why not just NOT dress up? If you're going to half-ass it, at least BE SOMETHING.

Anyone else see anything lame today? Opinions?
 
the lamest i have seen was someone dressed up as a Anandtech Mod!

the 5'9" blonde, thin, leggy, DD cupped secretary here was wearing a bee costume with a rather plunging neckline and knee boots. that was lame.
 
i have an edgerrin james jersey (cardinals) on...and yeah I'm white....so yeah im not even trying 😛

The idiots in my dept dressed up like American Idol... yet none of them even closely resemble anyone from the show, except for one guy that kind of looks like Simon.

I respectfully declined to participate, and instead dressed as "casual clothing guy" since we have to wear our stupid logowear or shirt and tie any other day...
 
I shaved my head and got a complete grey outfit with white shoes, a stuffed cat...I'm Dr. Evil. I thought it was ok.
Lame costumes: some woman dressed as a witch, another with just a monster mask, someone dressed as Weird Al from the White N Nerdy video.

Best one yet. This guy made a Master Chief costume. He'll probably win.

There were about 6 people at a party I went to Friday that went as Flava Flav. Their costumes consisted of clocks hanging from their necks, normal street clothes, and an annoyed look. Only 2 of them knew each other, and they both knew they were doing the same thing. Minus 8 billion originallity points, Minus 47 million spirit points.
 
A hockey Jersey... Everyone in canada plays hockey anyway (a well known fact) so it isn't really dressing up at all.

Personally, I was a ninja turtle
 
Why do you care so much about how others dress up for Halloween? It's all for fun anyway... the only lame part I see is how serious you are taking costumes. 😛
 
One of the guys here dressed up as Han Solo. It WOULD have been lame if he didn't have his shaggy-assed dog dressed up like Chewie 😀
 
I dressed like Clark Kent BTW. Found sunglasses that fit the part and popped out the lenses. I dressed like him with a superman shirt underneath, and toward the middle of the day, pulled my shirt open halfway and put my tie over my shoulder.
