I was pulled over one day for having a license plate cover. You know the one where pepboys sells them? The bitch gave me a $44 ticket for it. WTF is up with that? The reason she pulled me over is because i have that cover!

They are illegal and it's your responsibility to remove them. Most cops don't enforce the law, but it is one.

Been there done that....same fargin situation. Went to court, case was thrown out...cost me a day at work.

But that's so bull though. It's like a double bladed sword crap. They advertise to sell those things, then as soon as you buy it, you gave more money to the cops. It's like a cycle here.

If it is illegal. why do they sell it? Shouldn't it be banned to such store as pepboys?

Nope and car dealers and people like Pep Boys can put them on your car when they service you. It's your job to take them off and not to buy them. I also don't think that it's a big problem so they won't spend money to ban them.
