I mean, I know that it's not UPS' fault that it got stolen or anything, but this is the 2nd time for me that something's bad happened using them.
Delivered at 1:00 PM, not at the door when I got home at 5:00 PM :(

Looks like I wasted a good amount of money on my speaker system

Edit: I'm pretty sure that the UPS guy didn't come to MY house since a neighbor of mine is remodeling my house from 12:00 - 4:00 PM each day and it was delivered at 1:17 which is the during the time that he was at my house.
hmmm

You wasted a good amount of money because you didn't use shipping requiring a signature?

You didn't explicitly state that your package requires a signature? I require it for every package worth more than $100.

It said: Front Door

And Imdmn04 - I live in a pretty expensive neighborhood. This is the first time that something's been stolen. The other time, UPS broke my guitar

$80 speaker system? Probably for the best, it being stolen.

Hey wait a minute... I thought shipper/shipping company always ate the cost if something was left there and stolen?

Mail order a surveillance system.

On a second thought, it will be stolen too, you are doomed to oblivion.

Mail order some anthrax. That'll show them.

It probably got misdelivered. I went through a period where the USPS was misdelivering all my packages for some dumb reason. I think the mail carrier had started to huff glue or something.

150-200 dollar ones aren't shitty

Also, what am I supposed to do if UPS mailed it to the wrong place? I mean, do they have any records of it arriving at someone else's house instead of mine?

Sorry to say, but if you paid $80 for even 1 speaker, it probably isn't too great. :p

They're decent... Regardless, can someone just tell me what I can do if there's a possibility that UPS shipped my package to the wrong house?

Call them @ 1-800-PICK-UPS and tell them the situation. I had a package delivered to some company by mistake and they were able to track down where it was dropped off and did a retrieve/redeliver for me the next day. It was a bitch but hopefully that's what happened as opposed to it being stolen.

nope. I ship hundreds of packages a week, the only time they've covered it for me is if it has a sig required and they still leave it at the front door

Just wondering - do you ship by UPS?

Just curious, have you kept track of what percentage of packages end up missing when shipping through UPS? I've had a few packages that have been "Out for delivery" that never made it to me (small sample size for me, but its around 0.5%). I suspect there's some bad apples that handle the packages sent to me, as I've read about others who've sent thousands of packages without this type of issue.
