LAME codec for Windows Media Player?

Is there a plugin for WMP that supports MP3 encoding in LAME? I know that there are several paid plugins that use Fraunhofer, but since LAME is free, I was expecting to find one.

And yes, I know about EAC ... but several people that I talk to find it hard to use and want to encode MP3s in WMP.

get a lame front end if you don't wanna use EAC

EAC is easy to use. The people you talked to must be retards.

Here are the steps for running EAC:

1. Download the program.
2. Install the program.
3. Choose the "newbie" option (i.e., hide advanced functions) during installation or at first run. Follow the easy on-screen instructions.
