but the E46 M3 sounds like that too.
so did the Ferrari F355 in that dyno clip (one in red and one in yellow, the "hoods/trunk" were lifted up), at low RPM it sounds like a civic with flowmasters..... until it tops out at the last gear, it then sounds like thunder.

I don't see how anyone could confuse that sound w/ that of a 4 cylinder japanese engine. The high RPM sounds like it stops being an engine, and transforms to pure energy.
