Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder Roll Over Accident

...Am I just behind the times, here? What happened to "Lambo doors?" I thought they were still using them. Also...is there plywood on the bottom of that car?

I've got to admit, if I was fire/rescue/cop/towguy, dragging some dude's supercar (sort of...semantics) out of the woods upside down would make me laugh my ass off.

I'm assuming the passengers were okay? No one seemed very concerned in the video, and it didn't look like a violent wreck at all...more like someone just slowly slid off the road like a retard and then flipped because of the hill.

edit: Bahaha I just got to the 'uprighting.' I'm sorry, but the tow guys enjoyed that. I guarantee that shit like George Zimmer.

I googled it...looks like that's just the Gallardo? Murcielago and Aventador have them.

Also...no airbags for Lambo? Pretty sure fronts are mandatory, and I could see them now blowing...But I guess you don't get sides or curtains? These things always seem to end up upside down, I'd kinda want that stuff.

Also where's the rollbar, and the windshield frame made of chromoly that I'd damn well expect for that money? Lambos really do want to kill you.

Here we are...

What I would want my windshield frame to look like if I was gonna drive a 'vert. At their training place in NJ, they've got a bare chassis cutaway that shows the tubing reinforcement without the mangling. I'm not a huge Volvo fan or anything (as mentioned in wagon thread...I do like their wagons) but I cringe when I see how easily the windshields flatten out on some convertibles.

heh i thought the tow guys had some sort of tool or setup to get the thing upright but nope, just fiddle around with the bed and the winch :awe:
