Lamborghini Aventador J Roadster

Interesting, but I hope this isn't another one of those "we focused on lightweight sooooo much, we saved 50lbs versus the standard car!" deals. That always makes me roll my eyes. Like Porsche talking about how they used stickers or paint instead of a normal badge to save weight.

It kinda looks like a two seat BAC Mono. Now that's a lightweight car.

If Lambo got it to 3000lbs or less I'll be fairly impressed, but I'm very doubtful of that.

That seems to be what they were going for (a bike feel).
 
I, for one, won't get one if I have the means. I think they've gone a bit bonkers; there's madness, and then there's ... this.
 
The wilder the lambo the better imo.



A retractable windscreen and targa would be amazing on a portly version of this car. Lets see something innovative.
 
Lambo still is the definition of "exotic" in my mind, just as they've always been (although stuff like Pagani's are definitely in that same realm these days.) Sure there's some nice looking Ferrari's etc, but seriously... look at this thing. I'd still rather have the coupe version of the Aventador though, I'm not a big roadster fan. For me, the "Look at me I'm filthy rich!" car, were I to come into a huge bundle of cash, would be the Aventador coupe.

I think this is kind of a stupid car but I appreciate its outrageousness. I wouldn't buy one even if I had unlimited means - that comes back to its stupidity - but I like that it exists.
