Lambo laptop

I really don't find it special at all. The only things that it has that standout at all is the Lambo badge and the leather (personally I wouldn't even want leather like it is on that laptop if I would want it at all). You can find nicer looking ones elsewhere in my opinion.
 
heh i love it. i have been wanting a new machine for ages but still cant decide between Mac or windows.

in the apple camp id go for the iMac 20inch

for vista id probably go for an Asus laptop. they have 2 other machines that are roughly the same.

the G1 has a slower CPU, (2.0Ghz) and has some gawdy gamer orientated styling which i cant agree with. it is however £450 cheaper

the V1 again is slower (2.0Ghz) and has a mobility radeion X1700 with 256mb instead of the Geforce 7700 with 512mb, but essentially it appears to use the same chassis as the VX2, minus the leather, paint and badging. it comes with vista business though, so i am enquiring to see if nexus13.com will sell it to me with home premium installed instead.

santa rosa?

will it be anything great? so far i have found out it will have native HSDPA which i wont use and 800Mhz FSB for some faster meroms. anything else?

ill be waiting till then anyway i think, because i wanna see what Mac OS X 10.5 is like (rumours were saying an end of march release, beta testers reckon on begining of June) and £1749 is way too steep lol!

this is the Euro Version of this laptop, apparently the US version will be updated with Santa Rosa platforms.
 
Let?s analyze this for a moment. The specs aren't anything special. There isn't any 3rd party proprietary feature that would enhance it's functionality. The only thing this laptop has going for it is a marketing department makeover. It appeals to those idiots who are too stupid to look past brand names and see it for what it really is.
 
I think I like the red Ferrari Acers better than that yellow Lambo Asus.

I'd probably take a nice silver Porsche laptop over both though. 😛
Well, unless they put some really high end stuff in the Ferrari one. 😉

The idea of having leather palm rest seems pretty cool. I wouldn't get this one but in the future if someone makes one with leather that isn't flashy ill go for it 🙂

Asus do, they have a leather range, only problem is tha they are 11.1 inchers.
