lakers vs spurs

Lakers should take it... although I'm fearful they might not.

What we need more of is Fisher stepping up. In the last two games (especially game 5, where he scored 27 I believe) he was a HUGE contribution to the team. Not only was he able to handle the ball well in transition and orchestrate plays, he was sinking those threes. George was fantastic in game 6 - it's rare, but if he performs like he did in the last one, the Lakers are set. Kobe and Shaq we can pretty much always rely on... they have their dry runs, but they always seem to come back up. And as for Horry, he has so many open shots that he should take - I miss the days of the Rockets when the guy had more confidence stepping up.

Of course everything mentioned above is an ideal A+ Lakers team. But nothing is ever ideal... I can only pray that they played like they did in games 5 and 6.

George I think will mature as the playoffs go on. I've always thought that the Lakers offering him their mid-level exception was a good move, although many didn't share my opinions.

Fisher, on the other hand, is somewhat solid, but that somewhat gets me. He'll pitch in a good game every 2 games, or 2 good games every 3, and that's all we need.

Will Smith on the other hand... i mean Horry, with all that added bulk the Lakers demanded of him as PF, has lost a bit of touch. I think if he could go back to that Rocket form the Lakers would be completely set, but that's asking a bit too much. Horry hitting the big-time late shots is perfectly fine with me.

There is nothing wrong with Fisher.
On a side note about him, any think he looks like a lego man?
He's just ripped and all square looking. 😛

Seriously, Fisher has got to be the buffest point guard in the league.

And at 5'8", he packs a wallop for such a midget. 😉

no way in hell is he 5'8"

I'm picking the Spurs.

Not because I want them to win (I do) or because I want LA to lose ( I do) but because I think they CAN win this year if they play their best ball. If it goes to 7 games, the Spurs have a great chance.

Too bad I don't think SA can beat Sacto though.

it would be sweet to see the lakers lose now, but it would be sweeter to see them win now,
then lose to the kings.
