Shaq grabbed a rebound off a miss and dunked it over Bynum and he fell to the floor. Next play Bynum is in a low post against Shaq and he does a little fake move and turns around and dunks the ball. Bynum is pumped up and gives Shaq a little push and then Shaq retaliates by giving him a forearm to the chest.

He was in high school LAST YEAR. He IS a kid.

The dunk Shaq had over Bynum was BS and if anyone else would have done that crap they woulda been called for coming over the back... so it made it all the better when Bynum takes it to Shaq on the very next play and shows him what skill and quick feet can accomplish WITHOUT illegal moves/using raw power to force everyone else out of your way.

Shaq = big. Period. No skills. Take away his height/weight, what do you have? (in my opinion, you have a conceited manchild with little more maturity than my 16 year old sister)

/end rant

The only one acting immature in last night's game was Bynum, and if they had been playing street ball he woulda got knocked the fsck out by Shaq. IMHO Shaq had every right to slap that little bitch Bynum, who the fsck does Bynum think he is?

I agree Shaq had the right to shove back. But it WASN'T street ball, so I don't see your point.

My point is, the kid was trying to show Shaq's bully ass that he wasn't having any of it. And it worked.

Bynum pushed Shaq, Shaq gave him an elbow to the chest/neck. Technically, that makes for TWO immature moves. Bynum has an excuse . . . he's chronologically immature. Shaq has no excuse other than overindulged rich guy.

Whenever I hear people make statements like that I can't help but to think they have never played basketball before. Shaq is more than just size, there are lots of "big" players in the league who don't have the skills or the numbers that Shaq puts up. And while it's true that Shaq's size gives him an advantage what's wrong with that? I never hear anyone knocking Iverson because of his speed.

i'm not a shaq fan either but i recognize skill. for someone of that size, he has excellent footwork and is a decent passer.

You can find links to clips of the whole exchange on a certain Lakers web-site. lakers *cough* ground *cough* .net maybe...

That play by Bynum reminded me of how Shaq was able to accomplish the same move with similar ease in his younger days. Makes me remember the good old days... and look forward to the day when all the potential this young kid has on tap is finally unleashed.
