I would love to see it stay that way too... Kobe is te most overrated player I have seen in years.. People actually compared him to Jordan.. Look what Jordan did with virtually no one around him except a good defensive player in Scottie.

I'd like to see who on the Lakers actually compares to the young, aggressive Scottie, or Horace that Jordan had to back him up when he finally achieved his team successes. Outside of Kobe, the Lakers aren't much, esp. when taking into consideration both the offense and defense are built around Shaq. That being said, comparing Jordan to Kobe, for the reason above, and so many others, is stupid. Kobe isn't/won't be the next "Jordan." He's the first Kobe. A side-kick or co-captain at the moment, whatever you wish to call it, but at least he knows what really matters and has already gotten quite good at it... getting the ring and doing all in his power to get us another banner and trophy!
Despite these bad times, just as my family has been through decades of the good and bad, I am and will always will remain a fan of theirs. Time to jump on the Mavs bandwagon, f00ls. There's always more room suckas... hope your hearts aren't broken by this same purple-and-gold-clad team come playoff time (when it all really matters anyway). Wait, bandwagoners have no heart!

Nah. You don't hear people bashing the Angels. Its just that the Lakers are such a classless team that any day they lose is a good day.

Look what a washed up 39 year old Jordan did last year when he took the last place Wizards into almost the playoffs if he wasn't injured.
They were 2nd or 3rd in their division when Jordan went down.
What? I've heard people from the Bay Area call the Angel win a conspiracy. I've heard people from the east coast mock the Angels.
Winners are prime to be made fun of. I don't EVER recall a situation where a finals winner weren't mocked for one reason or another. On another note, the next baseball season hasn't started -- all those players are going to be nice and heavy from their winnings this year. Who knows if they can shed those pounds and stay in shape during the off season.
