ok, so you are out on the lake and you really gotta go, its pretty easy but somewhat embarrasing to just flop it out and go in the water, but the thing is, you are out in a boat.Whats proper boating ethics in this case, ive been no saint, but piss is a pwerful urge surrounded by water and 6 hours out.

what kind of boat are you in that is 6 hours away from shore and without a bathroom onboard? That's either not possible or very, very dangerous

anyways, just grab a bathing suit, drop anchor, and take a swim/bathroom break

well im 6 hours on the raft not 6 hours from shore, but if i dont have motor and i dont have a landing im pretty well scrwed..the water temp is in the high 50s atm, a bit nipply for a swim and in water you wouldnt dare want to swim in(weedsx1000)

You must remember the way the rules work.

If you go in the water you're ok. If you pee in a bucket and dump it overboard (and get seen) that is illegal dumping which is a big no-no.

Technically it would be legal for a guy to stand on the bow pulpit and wiz overboard however if another boater sees this and objects then it becomes an indecency issue.

Why is there no working head???

Probably meant that they weren't planning to be back on shore for 6 hours.

the only problem there is that you'll be swimming in your own warming solution. isn't that so?

Park ranger?
Just motor someplace a bit concealed if you're concerned about being seen.

Sorry. Yeah, that makes sense - I was thinking a powered boat with the 'ocean' in the title. Anyways, when I'm kayaking it's something I learn to live with out on open water without any close shore. Pretty hard to take my skirt off, get my waist out without tipping, then pee ;) But on a raft I'd just risk the urination - where are you going with this 'raft' amyways?
