Laidback vocal music

I mostly listen to electronic music, especially drum 'n' bass, but recently, I've been feeling the urge to listen to some laidback vocal music, think Frank Sinatra/Beatles etc. Now, I didn't grow up in the US, so I have no idea where to go looking, so I turned to ATOT

So, can people recommend good laidback Vocal music (aka music with lyrics)? Don't care much about style, could be pop, classic rock, jazz, whatever...
