Lag with Creative Zx + Win10

So I'm thinking hard about unloading this Creative Zx card. Need suggestions from people have experienced lag with Creative cards and that have moved on to better sound cards that don't have any lag.

I had a Creative card, but the drivers for it were horrible. It caused my system to mute everytime I restarted it or coming out of sleep.

I would have to go into device manager and disable the card and then enable it to get it working.

I yanked it and just use the onboard audio (Realtek ACL1150) and I think it's pretty good.
