Remind me never to golf with you since apparently you move the ball before you swing. Is that a one or a two stroke penalty? :colbert:

If you haven't done that same act at the driving range 10,000 times you must not golf much. :)

Most people who golf a lot don't touch a ball with their hands at the range very often. :)

hopefully the insurance does not find a way to scam the poor lady out of it. i have read 2-3 times of someone makeing a shot like this and then finding excuse to not pay.

hell im impressed she even got it to the goal.

I've heard of these but never heard of them sticking. The winner always takes the insurance company to court and they are awarded what they won.

I saw two things immediately that might cause her problems:

1. She took a practice swing;
2. She touched/moved the puck before shooting.

I am not saying they will stick, I am just saying that I bet the rules prohibit one or both of those.

I remember a guy who made a million dollars basketball shot who they tried to get out of because he dribbled the ball before shooting, which was against the rules. I mean, when given a basketball on a basketball court, who does't take a dribble or two? He won, BTW.

Earlier this year, twin #1 won a chance to take a similar shot. He sent his identical twin brother #2 to take the shot.

Twin #2 makes the shot. But, the insurance company would not pay out the $50k prize.

In the end, the insurance company made a donation to a youth hockey league.

I remember that. I think the insurance company has a good argument if the wrong person takes the shot.
