Some of you will think this is a joke but if your wife just had a baby you know it isn't one. My wife has to return to working part time soon which means we need to be able to bottle breast milk. Originally I thought I'd just run by BabiesRUs on the way home but did a price search for the Medela Pump-in-Style which is supposedly the best (what the heck do I know but that's what lactation consultants say). Anyhow, this particular pump is normally about $300 but this site regularly sells it for this price.

backordered, but sounds like a good price. my wife has this model (300 at babies r us) and it is high quality.

That's a good deal....any mother could cut her pump time in half. Yes, I'm serious. Damned shame my wife's at least 2 years from having a child again 🙁 ...but by then they might have an installable tap 😀
 
This is the same pump my wife uses. we're on baby #2 and it is going strong. She tried out another pump but thinks this one is much better. It gets high marks from the lacation nurses that she has talked to.

Last time we rented one, we rented an Ameda pump... is there much difference between the two brands?
 
pump is style for $185 here.
I'm sure that there are even better prices out there. Alway try to find internet sellers
from Canada. Lot'sa medical electronics - especially true with breast pumps - are cheaper though Canadian e-tailers. The stronger the dollar, the better the deal.

Advice from a father of many and more to come.

My wife has this pump and an exellent one it is. We got it used from a guy (rml) over in the for sale forum and couldn't be happier with it. Our 4 month old twin boys are happy about it too!

If you're going to have a baby (or 2 or 3...) soon and need to pump, get this one!!! You really get what you pay for with these things.
