I have an Athlon 600 and before yesterday I had a 235 watts PSU the system kept re-booting its self before it reached Windows 98 se. AMD recomend at least 300 watts PSU....could I have damaged something in the PC by having too little power? I have just changed it for a Antec PP-303X 300 watts PSU and it is still re-booting its self...has the damage already been done! Anyone please I'm stuck for what is happening!!

It is not usual for a low voltage [from an inadeqaute PS] to permanently damage a system, but it does happen occassionally. First I would look elsewhere at the problem you are having, before condeming the whole system; is this a newly asssembled 'box' and has it ever worked correctly? If that is the case, you may need to 'tweak' your BIOS settings.
